HP Slate 7 | An Affordable Jelly Bean Android Tablet from HP

HP recently announced its first ever android tablet HP Slate 7,with a  Jelly Bean flavor it comes with a 7-inch diagonal screen and weighs  approximately 13 ounces. After various attempts to develop its legacy “webos” finally HP has taken a right decision to make low cost most adorable android tablet. Though the tablet is cheaper HP has added made it little different from other competitors who use cheap plastic, it features a stainless-steel frame and soft black paint in red or grey on the back panel to avoid slippery. Its also the first tablet to come from HP which has embedded Beats Audio for the  richest audio experience, this feature was available only in HP laptops but adding it to the tablet enhances users experience.

HP announced a 5 hrs video playback by the battery but we can’t say anything for sure about battery until we get our hands on the tablet. This affordable android tablet will face major competition in global market from Acer, Asus and kindle fire tablets which are just a little expensive than this yet powerful. As far as indian market concerned there are very few competitors like Micromax funbook and HCL ME tablets. With the price of around 8000 INR and with the brand name of “HP” we can surely expect a craze in indian market, the release date is not announced however be in touch with our site to get the release date.

The bottom line : If you’re looking for a low cost android tablet just for casual browsing and music this is the right one for you, its definitely worth compared to micromax funbook which is priced in the same range.
