Backup game data and save your game progresses when rooting, or resetting your Android phone.

Many a times we become a victim of phone crashing and some times there is no way other than performing a hard reset. Hard resetting turns the phone to factory state and all data including apps and whatever was present on your phone’s internal storage gets deleted. Your phone is now in Factory state. You can download all your apps, games etc from Google Play store but what about the game data? What about your High scores which you’ve achieved by spending countless hours playing the game?

It happened to me, I was a big fan of Temple Run those days and I had a High score of more than 3 million. One day my phone was attacked by viruses and hard resetting made the count to zero. I was so much angry, I had spent hours and days for making that score and suddenly I’m back to zero. That is when I started researching for ways to preserve your game data and I came up with pretty good ways which can rescue you from these situations. Today I’m going to discuss ways to backup Android game data easily.

3 Apps to Backup Android  App and Game Data

There are many apps in Google Play store which can help you to backup android game data before you perform hard reset. I’ve used a few of them and they work wonders, I’ve tested them and they can be trusted with eyes closed.

1. Helium – App Sync and Backup

Helium is the best, an Android gamer can get, It is free and doesn’t require rooting. Helium lets you backup your apps and game data to SD card or Cloud storage. With Helium you can also sync your app and game data to some other Android device, I mean if you’ve moved to some other phone, with helium you can still sync app and game data from old phone to the new one, just install Helium and choose the backed up file and you’re good to go.

With Helium you can schedule backups – You don’t have to remember backing up. Just set down the backup scheduler and Helium will automatically backup you apps and games. This is an amazing feature and very useful, I usually forget backing up apps and end up losing data but with Helium I don’t have to worry any more.

Though Helium is a free app but some of it’s features are only for premium users. With free version you can easily backup and sync your app and game data to SD Card but Cloud Backup, Schedule Backups are something only premium users will enjoy, But still Helium is one of the Best Backup solutions available for Android.

2.  Titanium Backup

Titanium Backup is the Best Backup App for Android but the downside is that it is only for rooted users. So, if your Android device is not rooted then I would recommend you Helium but if it is rooted then, welcome aboard! Titanium Backup has amazing features, you can backup apps and games and restore them later. All your game progress will be automatically restored.

Game Progress Backup is another Android app which can help backing up your Game Progress. This app is made especially for users without root. The app easily lists all the games installed on device and provides 1 click backup. The App is still in BETA and may not support all games as many games cannot be saved without root access, but this app works great on all major games.

Is it possible that I could sync and back up all 6 gmail accounts to a regular gmail account I always use to be saved? This way on my newer Samsung J7 I could jus enter my gmail to recover game. Etc.. Or could I DO a file to save info on and open it up to restore with my new phone. Pls help. I’ll really appreciate it. Thanks in advance ?
