Contest #1 Results – Anurag wins it by making 196$

Wooooooooohhhhhh !!!!! An exiting contest comes to an end, never did I think this could be so exiting. #mindgames, #last-day-strategies #quality-content.
Initially Avi was racing with 4 to 5 posts a day with some really useful topics, Praveen was close to him with some high quality posts. Half way through the contest, my money was on Avi, but then came our long time author Raghvendra, and there was Anurag posting consistently.I never expected a new author to win the contest, but Anurag planned it like a pro. Slow and steady in the beginning and fast and furious during the end, having some high quality posts as a buffer was a very good strategy played by him.

It was a very close contest Anurag and Raghvendra. Both of them are winners, but technically there can only be one winner and it has to be Anurag with a prize money of 194$.

Congratulations Anurag, Raghvendra, and Avi for making it to the top 3.

Prizes for the 1st and 2nd runner-ups are 32Gb and  16GB pen drives, drop me a mail with your shipping address and I will order them for you.

Other participants who made the presence felt

In a contest like these the quality of posts is bound to go down, but surprisingly the quality of articles increased during the contest, and once again thank you all for

Well it was an awesome experience :))
I have been writing on “Android” niche since last year when I started AndroidGyan.Com and such a writing contest on “TheGeekDaily.Com” lured me to write on TheGeekDaily, and most of my articles published were related to Android niche.
Revenue sharing system of yours is a huge motivation for any write to write a good informative article for the readers. Payouts on TheGeekDaily.com are more than worth; you get the right amount for your article. Some writers don’t write good content because they are not paid worth for their work, but on TheGeekDaily, you will notice a different side of story.

In the initial stage of contest I thought I will write only a few articles and didn’t think of wining the event. But as the contest proceeded, I noticed more and more number of writers joining it and competition becoming stiffer. Then I made up my mind to produce some quality content and at the very last day I backed up with a few good articles and that fetch me a nice amount to win the contest.

Truly I enjoyed writing for TheGeekDaily and will continue in future with my Android niche content. I urge every good writer and blogger to come and join this shimmering platform on TheGeekDaily.

It was great competing with other authors at Techbu. I appreciate and admit that competition was fair enough. It was tough for me to write for Techbu after office hours but thanks to Satish and other authors who encouraged me to compete with enthusiasm. I am happy I could secure 2nd position in this competition :).

  1. Congrats Anurag and Avi, You guys were awesome! Thanks for such a close and interesting competition 🙂

And it feels good to have the “Highest Paid Post on Techbu” 😀

Thanks to Satish too for organizing such a great event 🙂 looking forward for many more in future.

  2. Satish – Thanks for all the mentions and it was a good contest overall. I started off well, but off late it became hectic at work and couldnt concentrate much on this, what a pity.

Congratulations to all winners, you did a great job and I have read some of your articles and they are very intriguing.

As far as other upcoming contests goes, I would suggest, instead of measuring by the number and quality of articles, each one can submit just one article of choice and promote it and get enough votes by other bloggers to qualify for the finals. Each round can be done in a similar way and you can also have a panel of judges to rank the articles in the final round.

    How does that sound?
