Gmail introduces new Compose mail box

Google has been working on to improve its products and would always keep rolling small updates time to time. In the same line Gmail received a new Compose Mail Box feature for easing out the process of composing emails.Sending and receiving Emails has evolved a lot since the first mail was sent, but one thing that hasn’t seen much light of innovation was the way we composed our mails.

New Compose mail box is indeed a very innovative and useful feature. It greatly reduces the time and effort to create a new email. The new feature enables users to compose mails without having to load the full compose mail page. Instead of loading the full new Compose mail page the Compose option is presented in a box on the same screen. Thus the user can see the contents of his Inbox at the time of composing the mail. The new Compose mailbox appears as a chat box pop-up.

“This makes it easy to reference any other emails without ever having to close your draft” . “You can even do a search or keep an eye on new mail as it comes in. And because the compose window works the same way as chats, you can write multiple messages at once and minimize a message to finish it later. ” writes Phil Sharp, Gmail product manager.

Quite similar to what you can do with your chat box in Gmail you can minimize the New Message box and continue writing the mail later. This is quite convenient when you want to quote or refer someone or some facts from a mail, now you can simply open that mail and compose the mail in the new compose mail box. You can also drag and drop the new address chips between to:, cc: and bcc:. When you’re done adding recipients, the address area collapses automatically to get out of your way.The new compose mail box also adds the ability to easily insert inline images. At the same time if you are using ‘Google Plus’ then you can even see the profile pics of your contacts as you add them to the recipients list.
