In today’s date, we spend a lot of our time online surfing through various websites for different purposes. And we all would agree that Google, Facebook and Twitter might be the most used websites in the world. We use Google to find answers to all our queries and there are times that you want to keep your queries private and not let anyone see them. These queries can be about some personal medical problem or something different.
Though you might delete the history of your surfing from the browser, it still gets logged in various third party sites. For example, when you do a search on Google for some query and you are logged in to your account then those queries will be recorded. So you need to delete search history from Google as well.
In this post, I will show you exactly how you can delete search history from Google and social media sites like Facebook and Twitter as well.
How to Delete Search History from Google?
If you are logged in to your Google account while you are searching for some answers or clicking on some links, then your choices will be logged in so that you get best results in the future searches and to serve you better ads based on your preferences.
So if you want to remove all your search history from Google, you need to follow the steps below:
Go to the Google Web History page and log in with your email account and you will see all the queries that you have made in Google search engine.
You can check the box next to the Remove Items box to delete all the queries. However if you want to remove only certain queries, select them individually and then click on the Remove Items box to delete all the queries.
If you don’t want Google to record your web history from now then you can go to Settings on the top right corner and select Turn Off to stop your history from getting recorded.
How to Delete Search History from Facebook?
We all have a Facebook account and we use it for different purposes. Some use it to stay connected with their friends, some use it to find new friends, some use to to follow successful people and businesses while some use it just to find new entertainment pages.
Whatever you do on Facebook, you might have used the search feature a lot of time. Just like Google, Facebook too records your searches so that it can give you the best possible results and show you the most relevant ads based on your likes and searches.
To delete your searches from your account, all you have to do is go to your profile page and then click on View Activity Log. On the left hand side, click on More and then click on Search and it will give you the complete history of your activities. To delete these all records, click on Clear Searches in the top right corner.
How to Remove Search History on Twitter?
To remove all your search queries from Twitter, simply log in to your account and then click on the search box on the top right corner. You will see all your recent searches and next to it you will see a Clear All option. Click on it and your search history will be erased.
So if you want to keep your search queries private, make sure you delete search history from Google, Facebook and Twitter right now. Let us know if you face any problems in doing so.
