You are reading this post and it means that you are still using Chrome for Android and you have no intention of changing your browser. So follow the simple steps below and you will see a increase in the speed of your browser.
Step 1: Open Chrome browser app on your Android device and then in the address bar, type in chrome://flags and then press enter. You will then be redirected to Chrome://Flags settings page. Don’t start making changes as you like because it will cause problems so don’t do anything without knowing its function.
Step 2: Now you need to scroll down on the settings page till you find the flag titled – “Maximum tiles for interest area Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android”.
Step 3: The Next step is to tap on the Default button and then you need to choose 512 from the drop-down menu. Make sure that your device’s RAM is more than 512 MB and if your Android device’s RAM is less than 512 MB RAM then you need to choose a value lower than this figure to prevent Chrome from hogging up all your RAM for itself.
Step 4: As soon as you change the value from Default to some figure, you will see a Relaunch button appear at the bottom of the screen. Click on the Relaunch button to relaunch the Chrome browser for the changes to take effect.
You might now be able to see a change in the speed of your Chrome browser. If you want to get back to the Default settings, then just choose Default from the drop-down menu and relaunch and everything will be back to default.
