HTC One X+, the successor of HTC One X was unveiled on October 2, 2012. HTC came with their one series in Q1 2012. This is one of the best series of phones by HTC. HTC One X+ is the new version of the famous HTC One X. It comes with brilliant specifications and some really awesome features. Here is a detailed list of specifications and features of this brilliant phone.

Size, Weight, Display and Battery

The HTC One X+ comes with dimensions as “134.36 x 69.9 x 8.9mm”. It has a weight of just “135 grams” with battery. The phone has “HD 720p” resolution. The device comes with a “4.7 inch” super LCD 2 touch with “Gorilla Glass 2”. It has an approximate pixel density of “312 ppi”. The device has “2100 mAh” Li-ion battery which is embedded in the device itself. The device also has Light sensor, Proximity sensor and a Scratch-resistant glass.


The HTC One X+ comes with NVIDIA Tegra 3 1.7 GHz Quad-core processor. It has a GPU of ULP GeForce @ 520MHz. It has 1 Gb RAM and a total storage capacity of 64 GB. Support for micro-sd card has not been clear yet. Also, It will come with a micro-sim card slot. For superior sound quality, the device comes with built-in Beats Audio speaker.

Operating System

This new HTC One X+ comes with Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 4.


HTC One X+ supports HSDPA+ (4G) 42.2 Mbit/s, HSUPA (3G) 5.76 Mbit/s, UMTS, EDGE and GPRS. For positioning, it has internal GPS antenna with GLONASS. It also supports navigation.


HTC One X+ has a 3.5 mm stereo audio jack and a micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port with mobile high-definition video link (MHL) for USB or HDMI connection. It supports NFC. The device comes with Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX enabled. It also has WiFi (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n) and DLNA for wirelessly streaming media from the phone to a compatible TV or computer.


The HTC One X+ has a 8 megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash, and BSI sensor (for better low-light captures). It also has HTC’s famous Image Sense. It has 1080p HD video recording (recording format: .mp4). Secondary camera being 1.6 megapixel can also record video at 720p. The device has a dedicated HTC ImageChip with which you can capture a 6 megapixel photo while shooting HD video at the same time. You can capture up to 99 shots with one-press continuous shooting. It also has video stabilization and supports slow motion video capture and playback.


The HTC One X+ is currently available in Europe and will reach South Asia by November 2012. HTC will have a separate announcement for the availability of device in the North America.


The HTC One X+ is set at a price of £474.00 (around Rs. 41,000) including VAT.
