The much rumored Samsung Galaxy S3 mini was launched in an event at Germany. The much hyped smartphone failed to get much applause because of its much downgraded specs when compared to it’s bigger full size version Galaxy S3. Samsung Galaxy S3 mini
Galaxy S3 mini is the latest 4 inch display smart phone that was recently announced by the Korean giant . Quite opposite to its big brother Galaxy S3 , mini has a Dual Core processor while Galaxy S3 has a Quad Core processor. However both the devices have the same Mali 400 GPU . While both the devices have a super AMOLED display, there’s trade-off in the display quality when compared with the full-fledged version of the device at 720×1280 pixel 4.8 inch screen (306 ppi) for a 480×800 pixel 4.0 inch screen (233 ppi). Apart from a downgraded Processor and display other things that have been downgraded when compared to S3 are Camera,mini has a 5MP camera while the former has 8MP camera. Moreover the storage option in Galaxy S3 mini is only 8GB and 16GB compared to 16GB and 64GB of Galaxy S3 and 16GB ,32GB and 64GB of Apple iPhone 5.

Apple iPhone 5
With iPhone 5, Apple has entered the market of smaller display devices that would usually feature a 4 inch display. Apple iPhone 5 has 8MP camera ,and is a Quad core device running on A6 processor. The device which features Retina display with Corning Gorilla Glass has a 1136-by-640-pixel resolution at 326 ppi. The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Finally if you have a iPhone 4S then apart from the need of a new cable to connect to the smaller dock in iPhone 5 , you won’t feel any difference in features, Those who own a iPhone 4 will however find a lot new features in this device.
