After the launch of Micromax Canvas HD, pictures of a 3d smartphone from Micromax has been leaked online. The photos look quite convincing and may be Micromax would launch the device in the following month. The pictures were leaked by the twitter handle @MMXnewscaster.
The leaked smartphone is supposed to bear the name Micromax Canvas 3d A115. According to the images, the screen will will feature a 3d UI. The display might not be stereoscopic but will be capable of displaying 3d images. It will feature a 5 inch display with a WVGA resolution. It will be powered by a dual core Mediatek processor and may be supported by 1 GB RAM. It will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Coming to the optics part, it might feature a 8 MP camera with flash at the rear end and in the front we might see a 2 MP camera. The camera might be able to take 3d images.
You must remember that this are not the official statements from Micromax, it is supposed that the device is in its last production stage and we might see the launch of device soon. 3d portable devices haven’t proved to be successful lately and if the reports are true, Micromax would be taking a big risk in launching the product.
The pricing of the Canvas 3d would probably be below Rs 15,000 but don’t take our words for real because Micromax has priced the Canvas HD more than people thought Micromax would. If anybody from Micromax is reading this, I would suggest them to produce sufficient products and then release them via popular e-commerce websites like Flipkart. They shouldn’t promote product scarcity and earn profits.
