Micromax the Indian mobile manufacturer has just launched company’s first Android Kitkat (Android 4.2.2) based device. It is quite amazing that the company didn’t launch the new OS in any of the flagship devices yet, but they did launch it in a budget device.
However, recently ‘Motoroala‘ launched a new addition to ‘Moto’ series called ‘Moto E‘ the device is expected to be a big hit similar to its earlier launches by the company. Till now Moto E was the only budge device to possess Android 4.4.2 but Micromax today has unveiled its device and united with the list.
While talking about the new OS i.e.Android4.4.2, it is being considered to be the lightest and most stable version of Android and the best part of the OS is that it will be best suited even for those devices which have 512MB of RAM.
Well, Micromax has always been there to take down the market share of almost all the mobile manufacturers mainly in India and Asian countries and Russia as well.
Shubhodip Pal, CMO, Micromax said at the launch:
India is a diverse country and language at times can act as a barrier for people to seamlessly communicate with their phones. Therefore, we firmly believe that support for local languages on phones will perhaps be the next big driver for the day to day phone transactions, internet usage and online content consumption in India given that most of the population does not use English as their primary language. With the launch of the Micromax Unite 2, our aim is to enable local customization to serve the unique needs of Indian consumers across multiple markets.
The device comes with 4.7″ IPS display. The display comes with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. As mentioned earlier the device runs on Android 4.4.2 and has 1 gigs of RAM. The company has not specified the quad core processor which is clocked at 1.3 GHz. However, the processor is expected to be the Mediatek.
The device also supports 5 MP primary shooter with LED flash and Auto focus. The device is mainly launched for Indian market as it comes with inbuilt 20 Indian regional languages with a powerful chip set inside with 1 gigs of RAM.

The device will be available soon in a couple of days. The device is mainly launched in India to shatter the market share by the recently launched Moto E from Motorola. However, if we talk about the screen resolution, Moto E takes down on Unite 2 with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. Being a Google powered company ,the device will get all the OTA updates faster. Since, the phone has not been tested yet so it is difficult to predict anything about the camera, but Unite 2 beats Moto E with an LED flash option. Moto E is not capable of supporting secondary shooter while Unite 2 supports 2 MP secondary shooter.
That was a detailed note regarding Unite 2 and the device will soon be seen in the Indian market. Stay tuned with us for more exciting updates.
