Samsung Projector Phone is available for Pre Order

It has been a year since Samsung announced its Projector phone or Samsung Galaxy Beam but just now Samsung announced pre-orders of this device in India. The best feature of this phone is the projector which can beam videos, photos and movies on a screen as big as 50 inches. Samsung has not reveled the Shipping date but you can pre-order one now for Rs. 29,900.

Here are the Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Beam

  • Band : 2G and 3G
  • CPU : 1GHZ
  • Resolution : 480*800 (WVGA)
  • Size : 10.16cm (4.0″)

The other unique feature of Beam is that you have a dedicated key to turn on the projector and focus the light and there is a Icon on the home screen from where you can project videos, documents etc. In Indian market there are very few such projector phones, one such is Micromax X40 which costs around five thousand. X40 received only less support because of poor display and software, but this is Android powered Smart phone so many may think to buy it.

Bottom Line : This device is for users who take lot of workshops, mini meeting etc who need both smart phone environment with projection, others can think before buying because at the same price there are numerous good smartphone like S2,Galaxy note etc, moreover there is no announcement for OS upgrade from built in V2.3

i must say it has a draw back as it has Android v2.3 os

Yeah, that’s a serious draw back. But people who really need the projector option wouldn’t really care about the OS, though it’s a good to have the latest version.
