I am a nonprofit publisher of books for children and adults, in India. We are in the process of deciding what is the best way to get into ePublishing.
    1. Do it on our own or go with a reputed service provider.
    2. PDF, Ebook or Mobi format?

To see children’s books with pictures and illustrations, .cbr format is the best. These files can be viewed on Gonvisor, a good software for .cbr files.

For pictured books, the mobi will not work. PDF will, but still it is not very popular.

I think, Ms Dharmarajan, you run Katha, don’t you?

I had met you long back (more that 14 years ago) in Delhi and in Mumbai.

You do good work. Keep it up.

      All the best.
