Avira AntiVirus

At the top of the free antivirus programs Avira AntiVirus is without question.Particularly noteworthy is the high detection rate of the software that has no equal. In terms of speed, the latest version of Avira AntiVirus trumps again to clear.

Testing of the entire system are carried out at breakneck speed. While the other system suffers ever so slightly. Whether you are starting or audit: AntiVirus is conveniently in the background, without the user of it a little too much notice.

Even the slim menu is impressive, although the expert mode seems overloaded. Also annoying is the advertising window that opens on every update and persistently promotes the pay version of Avira AntiVirus. The obvious compromise, but you must accept when surfing. An examination of surfing or get your e-mails is not available in the free version. If in doubt, you are using a downloaded e-mail attachments so alone.

Panda Cloud Antivirus

When the cloud was still in its infancy, has already presented his service Panda Cloud Antivirus.Besides Avira AntiVir offers Panda Cloud Antivirus is one of the highest detection rates of malicious applications. Since it the main concern, Panda Cloud Antivirus is one of the better options.

Delightfully, the software is mainly for beginners. The operation is worded in very simple, so it does not need any special skills. Problematic is the fact that the service accesses an online database.

On the one hand this ensures true that there are always current signatures. Without an Internet connection, but you can sit on dry land. Diminished the image is further characterized by a lack of filters for e-mail or web. After all, a restricted behavior-based detection Panda Cloud Antivirus has become. Only the paid version offers even more.

With AVG, you get a virus scanner in the house, while recognizing the many signatures, but falls short of the other field. This program promotes the purchase version. However, far more restrained than would be the case with Avira AntiVir.

More stubborn that AVG shows but in other areas.Sun will force the software to install the Yahoo toolbar as “AVG Security Toolbar”. The only advantage of the toolbar is a proactive scanning of links before they are clicked.

Also in the field speed that AVG does all the time. Be it during the boot process, or during a test run. Here can not convince the free program.

Microsoft Security Essentials

Simply presents itself Microsoft Security Essentials. The interface of the software to operate, even for beginners easily. Advertising on the software giant has waived that right across the low detection rates across all areas but can not hide. As basic protection like Microsoft Security Essentials be adequate – but nothing more. The processes take a long time and burden the system noticeably. The competition here is clearly ahead.

Avast Antivirus

Avast Antivirus offers many things that did not compete in the free segment. Starting with scans for e-mail and surfing, a recognition based on behavior as well as the monitoring of additional applications. The scope of the software is impressive.

Also, the recognition rate is impressive, although it’s not enough for the top spot. Therefore the scan is faster than average. Also at startup, the user has little to contend with delays. If that was not already good enough, the software excels even with multiple daily updates of the signature.

So many features to comfort those on compulsory registration of time right after installation.

It’s well written and simply insightful. You have done a lot of research and collected so many information to write! 🙂

I like Microsoft security essential and AVG. MSE is simple and yet powerful. I have seen many new lap buyers going for MSE. It gives a basic security that is worth it. It is perfect for beginners.

AVG and Avast on the other hand for better protection among freewares.

I like tip #9 very much. Many hackings of organization that come from within is because of storing passwords in local drives. Technicians should know that Linux will bypass windows security and access drives indiscriminately no matter they have restricted access to the drive they stored passwords.

Password managers are better in this case!

Once again, thanks for sharing sagar!
